One handywoman.
One single dad.
One set of twins.
And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…
I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.
Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.
Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.
On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.
In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.
I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.
And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.
Oops…
MISS FIX-IT is a brand-new, standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, who brought you BEING BROOKE and CATCHING CARLY.

Miss Fix-It is the new standalone from Emma Hart. It’s not a surprise if I say that I love Emma Hart’s book. When I pick her new book, I know I will have a good time. Miss Fit-It did the job. I read two angst driven books and I wanted a funny, fluffy book and Miss Fix-It delivered.

Miss Fix-It is the story of Kali and Brantley. Kali is an handywoman. You need someone to paint your wall? To construct your furnitures? You call her, she is the person you need. She works with her father in their family business. She likes to not tell her name to suprise her clients, thinking they will get a man instead of a woman.
Brantley is the father of twins, one girl and a boy. He just arrived in the city after leaving everything behind to start anew. He called Kali to help him with his children’s rooms.

Like I said, you have a good time everytime you read an Emma Hart’s book. Miss Fix-It was the perfect feel good book. It’s not a surprise that I like a single dad type of book and when it’s twins? It’s even better. The twins were so cute, they were a real ray of sunshine in this book.

I also very like the fact that for once the female character had a « male » job. You read a lot of book where the female character is a teacher or a nurse or a stay at home mom. I have nothing against it but it’s refreshing to read a female having another job.

I loved Kali and Brantley love story. They were cute, sexy and their story felt so real. Brantley had difficulties with his children, Kali didn’t want what she got. They attraction to each other and the sexual tension was woow.

Anyway this book was what I needed at that time and I am so glad I read it. If you are looking for a sexy, funny, quick read, try Miss Fix-It, you won’t regret it.

P.S: I am sorry about the quick review. I don’t have a lot of time to read/write review but I wanted to give my opinion on this book because I really loved it.

I would have liked the cover better if the picture wasn’t as sexy as the one used…
